Honey Walnut Snack Clusters

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup walnuts (halves or chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Toast the walnuts:
    • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the walnuts and toast for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant.
  2. Prepare the honey glaze:
    • Reduce heat to low, add butter or coconut oil to the skillet.
    • Stir in honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Coat the walnuts:
    • Toss the toasted walnuts in the honey mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Cool and serve:
    • Transfer to a parchment-lined tray and let cool for 10–15 minutes so the honey sets.
    • Enjoy as a snack, or crumble over yogurt, oatmeal, or salads.

Tips:

  • For a dessert twist, drizzle with dark chocolate after cooling.
  • For a spicy-sweet version, add a pinch of cayenne or nutmeg.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
