That claim is misleading. There isn’t a single vitamin that “cures” neuropathy.
Peripheral neuropathy happens for many different reasons—like Diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, infections, or nerve injury—so treatment depends on the cause.
Where vitamins actually fit in:
- Vitamin B12 can help if your neuropathy is caused by a B12 deficiency
- Other B vitamins (like B1 and B6) support nerve health in general
- Vitamin D may help with pain in some cases
But these don’t “cure” neuropathy unless a deficiency is the underlying problem.
Important reality check:
- If neuropathy is due to diabetes, the main treatment is blood sugar control
- If it’s from nerve damage or another condition, vitamins alone won’t reverse it
- Taking high doses of some vitamins (especially B6) can actually worsen nerve problems
What you should do instead:
- Identify the cause (blood tests, medical evaluation)
- Treat the root issue
- Use supplements only if there’s a proven deficiency or medical advice
If you want, tell me your symptoms (numbness, tingling, burning, where it occurs), and I can help you figure out what might be behind it and what actually helps.
