🛒 Ingredients
For the meatballs:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ lb ground pork (or use all beef)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp allspice
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- Salt & black pepper to taste
For the casserole:
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

1️⃣ Make the Meatballs
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let soak 2–3 minutes.
- Add beef, pork, egg, onion, garlic powder, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Roll into 1-inch meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake 15–18 minutes until browned and cooked through.
2️⃣ Cook the Noodles
- Boil egg noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth and cream.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer until thickened (5–7 minutes).
- Stir in sour cream. Adjust salt and pepper.

- Reduce oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large baking dish, combine noodles, meatballs, and sauce.
