Simple Recipe: Almond-Stuffed Dates

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pit the dates by slicing them lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  2. Insert an almond into each date.
  3. Optionally, drizzle with honey or sprinkle lightly with sea salt.
  4. Serve as is, or chill for 15–20 minutes for a firmer texture.

Variations

  • Cheese-stuffed: Mix cream cheese with a little honey or cinnamon before filling dates.
  • Chocolate-stuffed: Melt chocolate, fill the date, and chill until set.
  • Bacon-wrapped: Wrap stuffed dates in bacon and bake for a sweet-salty appetizer.
