Strawberry brownies

Strawberry Brownies are soft, chewy dessert bars with a bright strawberry flavor and a sweet glaze on top. Unlike chocolate brownies, these are pink, fruity, and slightly cakey—perfect for spring or summer treats. 🍓


Ingredients

For the Brownies

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (about 15 oz)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped (optional for extra flavor)

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp mashed strawberries or strawberry puree
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Heat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Batter
    In a bowl, mix strawberry cake mix, eggs, and oil until a thick batter forms.
    Fold in chopped strawberries if using.
  3. Bake
    Spread batter evenly in the pan.
    Bake for 18–22 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  4. Cool
    Let the brownies cool completely before glazing.
  5. Make the Glaze
    Mix powdered sugar with mashed strawberries until smooth.
    Spread over the cooled brownies.
  6. Slice & Serve
    Cut into squares and enjoy.

Tips

  • Add white chocolate chips for extra sweetness. 🍫
  • Chill the brownies for 30 minutes for cleaner slices.
  • Top with fresh strawberry slices for decoration.
