3. Assemble in Slow Cooker

  • Place sliced onions and mushrooms at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Layer the patties on top.
  • Mix beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the patties.

4. Cook

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  • The patties will become tender and soak up the gravy flavor.

5. Thicken the Gravy

  • About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
