🥧 Pot Pie

Pot Pie is a creamy meat and vegetable filling baked inside a flaky pastry crust.

  • Usually made with chicken, but beef or turkey can also be used.
  • Has a pie crust on top (sometimes top and bottom).

Basic Ingredients

  • Cooked chicken or turkey
  • Carrots, peas, potatoes
  • Onion and celery
  • Creamy gravy (butter, flour, milk or broth)
  • Pie crust or puff pastry

Simple Preparation

  1. Cook vegetables and chicken in a creamy gravy.
  2. Pour the mixture into a pie dish.
  3. Cover with pie crust.
  4. Cut small vents in the crust.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 30–35 minutes until golden.
