  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika (optional)
  • ½ cup Grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add minced meat, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until meat is browned and cooked through.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in grated cheese.

2. Prepare Puff Pastry

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut into 6–8 squares.

3. Assemble Pastries

  1. Place a spoonful of meat and cheese mixture in the center of each square.
  2. Fold into triangles or rectangles, sealing edges with a fork.
  3. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.

4. Bake

  • Bake in preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

5. Serve

  • Serve warm as appetizers, snacks, or part of a meal.
  • Optional: garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.

  • Add vegetables: Finely chopped bell peppers or spinach for extra flavor.
