Raffles Parisian Sling cocktail

Posted on March 4, 2026 by Admin

The Raffles Parisian Sling is a refined twist on the classic Singapore Sling, inspired by the legendary Raffles Hotel Singapore, where the original Sling was created in 1915. The Parisian version leans lighter, fruit-forward, and slightly floral.

🍸 Raffles Parisian Sling (Inspired Version)

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz gin
  • ½ oz Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
  • ½ oz cherry liqueur (e.g., Heering)
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • ÂĽ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Sparkling wine (to top)

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add gin, Cointreau, cherry liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and bitters.
  3. Shake well until chilled.
  4. Strain into a chilled tall glass or large wine glass filled with ice.
  5. Top with a splash of sparkling wine.
  6. Garnish with a cherry and a pineapple wedge.

🍒 Flavor Profile

  • Bright citrus and tropical pineapple
  • Subtle cherry sweetness
  • Light effervescence from sparkling wine
  • Elegant and refreshing
