Ingredients

  • 250g Halloumi Cheese, sliced into ½-inch thick pieces
  • 1–2 tsp Olive Oil or use a non-stick pan
  • Optional: lemon wedges, fresh herbs (Mint or Parsley)

Instructions

  1. Prepare halloumi
    • Slice the halloumi and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Heat the pan
    • Use a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add olive oil if not using a non-stick pan.
  3. Fry the halloumi
    • Place slices in the hot pan and cook 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
    • Avoid moving too much—let the crust form.
  4. Serve immediately
    • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
    • Garnish with herbs or drizzle with honey for a sweet-savory twist.
