Michigan rocks recipe

Posted on April 8, 2026 by Admin

“Michigan Rocks” usually refers to a fun, no-bake sweet treat—kind of like chocolate clusters packed with crunchy and chewy bits. Here’s a popular homemade version:

Michigan Rocks (Chocolate Peanut Clusters)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups salted peanuts (or mixed nuts)
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers or cornflakes

Instructions:

  1. Melt chocolate & peanut butter
    • In a microwave or double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together.
    • Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Mix everything
    • In a large bowl, combine marshmallows, peanuts, and crushed crackers/cornflakes.
    • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over and stir well until everything is coated.
  3. Form the “rocks”
    • Drop spoonfuls onto a tray lined with parchment paper.
    • Shape them roughly—they should look like little “rocks.”
  4. Let them set
    • Refrigerate for about 30–60 minutes until firm.

Tips & Variations:

  • Add raisins or dried cranberries for a chewy twist
  • Swap peanuts for almonds or cashews
  • Drizzle white chocolate on top for extra flavor

These are super easy, no-bake, and perfect for quick desserts or snacks.

If you want, I can show you a more traditional “Michigan rock candy” version or a healthier version with fewer calories.
