Mashed potatoes are a classic comfort food—simple, creamy, and super customizable. Here’s an easy way to make them:


🥔 Basic Mashed Potato Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4–5 medium potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 2–4 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup milk (or cream for richer taste)
  • Salt to taste

Steps:

  1. Boil the potatoes
    Put chopped potatoes in salted water and boil for 15–20 minutes until soft.
  2. Drain and mash
    Drain well, then mash using a masher or fork.
  3. Add butter & milk
    Mix in butter first, then slowly add warm milk while mashing.
  4. Season
    Add salt (and black pepper if you like).
