Here’s a simple and delicious way to make creamy potatoes—rich, comforting, and perfect as a side dish:


🥔 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter version)
  • 2–3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or thyme) for garnish
  • ½ cup grated cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Boil Potatoes
    • Place cubed potatoes in salted water and boil until tender (10–15 minutes).
    • Drain well.
  2. Prepare Cream Mixture
    • In a saucepan, heat butter and garlic over medium heat.
    • Add cream (or milk) and warm gently.
  3. Mash Potatoes
    • Return potatoes to the pot.
    • Pour in the cream mixture and mash until smooth.
  4. Season & Add Cheese
    • Add salt, pepper, and optional cheese.
    • Stir until cheese melts and mixture is creamy.
  5. Garnish & Serve
    • Sprinkle chopped herbs on top.
    • Serve warm as a side for meat, poultry, or vegetables.

💡 Tip: For extra richness, use half cream, half cream cheese. For lighter version, use milk + Greek yogurt.
