Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Shrimp:
    • In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, paprika, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
    • Toss shrimp in the marinade and let sit for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Preheat Grill:
    • Heat grill to medium-high. If using skewers, thread 4–6 shrimp per skewer for easy flipping.
  3. Grill Shrimp:
    • Place shrimp on the grill and cook 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
    • Be careful not to overcook, as shrimp can become tough quickly.
  4. Serve:
    • Remove from grill and garnish with parsley and extra lemon juice.
    • Serve with rice, pasta, salad, or in tacos.

Tips

  • Skillet Option: If you don’t have a grill, cook shrimp in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for the same 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Extra Flavor: Add a drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze for a sweet-savory twist.
  • Frozen Shrimp: Thaw completely and pat dry before marinating to prevent excess water on the grill.
