🍤 Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Garlic shrimp pasta is a quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring juicy shrimp sautéed in garlic, olive oil, and herbs, tossed with pasta for a light yet satisfying meal.

🧂 Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook pasta: According to package directions; drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Sauté shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté 1–2 minutes. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (2–3 minutes per side).
  3. Combine: Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss with shrimp, garlic, lemon juice, and a splash of reserved pasta water to coat.
  4. Finish: Sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

đź’ˇ Tips

  • Use fresh or thawed shrimp for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overcook shrimp—they cook quickly and become rubbery if overdone.
  • Add cherry tomatoes or spinach for extra color and nutrients.
  • Pair with garlic bread or a side salad for a full meal.

If you want, I can also make a creamy garlic shrimp pasta version that’s richer, with a white wine and cream sauce, perfect for a restaurant-style dinner at home.

Do you want me to do that?
