Savory, cheesy, and perfect for dipping 🥖🧀
French Dip Biscuits (Easy Pull-Apart Style)
These are inspired by the classic French Dip sandwich — roast beef, melty cheese, and warm au jus — all baked inside fluffy biscuits.
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
- 8 slices deli roast beef
- 4 slices provolone cheese (cut in halves)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 2 cups water
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Prepare biscuits
Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands. - Fill
Add a folded slice of roast beef and half a slice of provolone to the center of each biscuit. - Seal
Fold edges around filling and pinch tightly to seal. Place seam-side down in the baking dish. - Brush & season
Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush over tops. - Bake
Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown. - Make au jus
While baking, prepare au jus according to packet instructions (usually mix with water and simmer). - Serve warm
Serve biscuits with au jus on the side for dipping.
🌟 Variations
- Add sautéed onions or mushrooms inside.
- Use mozzarella or Swiss instead of provolone.
- Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top for extra flavor.
