Posted on February 27, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a warm, cheesy, crowd-pleasing recipe for French Dip Biscuits 🥖🧀 — flaky biscuits stuffed with roast beef and cheese, served with rich au jus for dipping.

🥩 French Dip Biscuits

Ingredients (Makes 8 biscuits)

  • 1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (8 count)
  • ¾–1 lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli style)
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or Swiss)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley (optional)

For the au jus:

  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment.

2️⃣ Assemble

  • Flatten each biscuit slightly.
  • Add a slice of cheese and a small pile of roast beef.
  • Fold edges up and pinch closed to seal.
  • Place seam-side down in baking dish.

3️⃣ Season

  • Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
  • Brush over tops of biscuits.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Bake 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.

5️⃣ Make Au Jus

  • While baking, prepare au jus according to package directions.
  • Serve warm for dipping.

🔥 Optional Upgrades

  • Add sautéed onions or mushrooms
  • Use horseradish sauce inside
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top before baking

If you’d like, I can give you a from-scratch biscuit version, a slow-cooker beef version, or a party slider tray version.
