Energy ice cream

“Energy ice cream” usually refers to ice cream that’s made to give you a boost of energy, either through ingredients or added stimulants.

🍦 What it can be

1. High-energy (nutrient-packed) ice cream

  • Made with:
    • Nuts (almonds, peanuts)
    • Peanut butter
    • Honey or dates
    • Milk or yogurt
  • Gives natural energy from carbs + healthy fats

2. Protein ice cream

  • Includes protein powder or Greek yogurt
  • Good for post-workout energy and recovery

3. Caffeine-infused ice cream

  • Flavored with coffee or espresso
  • Sometimes contains added caffeine (like a cold dessert version of coffee)

⚡ Simple DIY Energy Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • Frozen bananas
  • Peanut butter
  • Cocoa powder or honey
  • Milk (a little)

Blend everything → freeze for 1–2 hours → done.


⚠️ Things to watch

  • Some “energy” versions with caffeine can affect sleep
  • Store-bought ones may have lots of sugar (quick energy, but short-lasting)
