Deviled ham salad

Posted on March 9, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a classic Deviled Ham Salad recipe—creamy, tangy, and perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or lettuce cups:

Ingredients

  • 1 can (about 12 oz / 340 g) deviled ham spread
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (adjust for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for extra tang)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped celery (for crunch)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped sweet pickle or relish
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped hard-boiled egg or a dash of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix deviled ham, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, relish, and lemon juice until smooth and well blended.
  2. Adjust seasoning: Taste and add salt, pepper, or hot sauce if desired.
  3. Chill: Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  4. Serve: Spread on bread or crackers, or use as a sandwich filling with lettuce and tomato.

Tips

  • For extra texture, add finely chopped onion or bell pepper.
  • If you like a smoother spread, pulse in a food processor for 10–15 seconds.
  • Keeps in the fridge for 3–4 days in an airtight container.

I can also give a fancier holiday version with cream cheese, herbs, and paprika for a more festive presentation. Do you want me to do that?
