Posted on March 8, 2026 by Admin

Chicken Cordon Bleu Crescent Braid is an easy baked dish made with crescent roll dough, chicken, ham, and cheese braided together into a golden pastry. It tastes like chicken cordon bleu but is much quicker to make. πŸ₯πŸ§€πŸ—

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1½–2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 6–8 slices ham
  • 6–8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp parsley or sesame seeds (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F / 190Β°C.
  2. Prepare filling:
    • Mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.

    • Place crescent dough on a baking sheet and press seams together to form a rectangle.
  4. Add filling:
    • Spread chicken mixture down the center.
    • Layer ham and Swiss cheese on top.
  5. Cut strips:
    • Slice 1-inch strips on both sides of the dough (like fringe).
  6. Braid it:
    • Fold strips over the filling alternately from left and right to create a braid.
