Here’s a simple and delicious homemade chicken nuggets recipe—crispy outside and juicy inside.


🍗 Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the coating

  1. In one bowl mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a second bowl whisk eggs and milk.
  3. In a third bowl place the breadcrumbs.

2. Coat the chicken

  1. Dip each chicken piece in flour.
  2. Then dip in the egg mixture.
  3. Finally coat with breadcrumbs.

3. Cook the nuggets

Frying method

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry nuggets for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Oven method (healthier)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place nuggets on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.

Air fryer method

  • Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway.

🍯 Dipping Sauces

  • Ketchup
  • Honey mustard
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Garlic mayo

💡 Tip:
For extra crispy nuggets, use panko breadcrumbs and spray lightly with oil before baking.
