Here’s a quick and classic way to make a bologna sandwich:


Classic Bologna Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • 2–3 slices of bologna
  • 1–2 slices of cheese (optional, like American or cheddar)
  • Mustard, mayonnaise, or your favorite spread
  • Lettuce, tomato, or pickles (optional)
  • Butter (optional, if you want a grilled version)

Instructions (Cold Sandwich):

  1. Spread mustard or mayo on one or both slices of bread.
  2. Layer the bologna slices on one slice of bread.
  3. Add cheese, lettuce, tomato, or pickles if using.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread.
  5. Serve immediately or wrap for later.

Optional Grilled Version:

  1. Butter the outside of both bread slices.
  2. Assemble the sandwich as above.
  3. Grill on a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and the cheese melts, about 2–3 minutes per side.
