Ingredients

  • 4–5 medium Carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks or rounds
  • 2 tbsp Butter or Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1–2 tbsp Dijon Mustard (or yellow mustard)

  • Optional: pinch of Paprika or fresh herbs like parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the carrots
    • Boil or steam the carrots until just tender (about 5–7 minutes).
    • Drain and set aside.

    • In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Stir in honey and mustard until smooth and slightly bubbly.
    • Add salt, pepper, and optional paprika.
  3. Combine
    • Toss the cooked carrots in the sauce until evenly coated.
    • Cook for 2–3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  4. Serve
    • Garnish with chopped parsley or a sprinkle of black pepper.
    • Serve warm as a side dish for chicken, steak, or grilled fish.

  • For a glazed effect, let the carrots cook a little longer in the sauce so it thickens.
  • You can add a splash of lemon juice for a tangy twist.
