Deviled ham salad

Posted on March 11, 2026 by Admin

Deviled Ham Salad is a classic American spread made from finely chopped or mashed cooked ham, mixed with mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings. It’s creamy, tangy, and perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or as a dip. 🥪✨

📝 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 1 cup finely chopped or mashed Cooked Ham
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1–2 tsp Mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: finely chopped Pickle or Celery for crunch

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare ham
    • Chop or mash the ham into small pieces (food processor works well).
  2. Mix ingredients
    • Combine ham, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
    • Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Add extras
    • Fold in chopped pickles or celery if using.
  4. Chill
    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  5. Serve
    • Spread on sandwiches, crackers, or toast.
    • Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika or a small pickle slice.

🍽️ Tips

  • For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for 3–4 days.
  • Works great as a party appetizer with crackers or mini toast rounds.

I can also give a low-mayo version or a zesty deviled ham salad with herbs if you want a twist.
