Glazed pork ribs

Posted on March 9, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a flavorful recipe for Glazed Pork Ribs that’s tender, sticky, and perfect for any meal:

Glazed Pork Ribs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional for smokiness)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce or homemade glaze (see below)

Optional Glaze Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Prepare the ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if needed. Season ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Wrap in foil: Place ribs on a baking sheet, cover tightly with foil, and bake for 2–2.5 hours until tender.
  4. Prepare glaze: Mix barbecue sauce with honey, soy sauce, mustard, and vinegar (if using).
  5. Glaze the ribs: Remove foil and brush ribs generously with the glaze.
  6. Broil or bake uncovered: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–15 minutes or broil for 3–5 minutes, until glaze is caramelized and sticky.
  7. Serve: Let ribs rest a few minutes before cutting between bones. Serve with coleslaw, baked potatoes, or corn on the cob.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, marinate ribs in the glaze for a few hours or overnight before baking.
  • You can finish ribs on a grill for a smoky char instead of broiling.
  • Leftovers reheat well; glaze again before warming to keep them moist.

I can also give a “quick 1-hour stove-to-oven glazed ribs” version that’s faster but still tender and sticky.

Do you want me to do that?
