  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour (maida)

1. Cream butter + sugar

  • In a bowl, mix butter and powdered sugar
  • Beat until smooth and fluffy

2. Add flour

  • Gradually add flour
  • Mix until a soft dough forms
  • Don’t overmix (cookies become hard)

3. Shape cookies

  • Make small balls or flatten slightly
  • Place on baking tray (lined or greased)

4. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 170Β°C (340Β°F)
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes
  • Edges should be lightly golden (not dark)

5. Cool

  • Let cookies cool completely (they firm up after cooling)
