10-Minute No-Oven Bread

Here’s a 10-Minute No-Oven Bread recipe — quick, soft, and perfect for when you don’t want to bake! 🍞✨


Ingredients (makes 1 small loaf)

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for slightly sweet bread)
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or melted butter)

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
    • In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add wet ingredients
    • Stir in milk and oil until smooth. The batter should be thick but pourable.
  3. Cook on stovetop
    • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and lightly grease it.
    • Pour the batter into the skillet and spread evenly.
    • Cover with a lid and cook for 8–10 minutes, until the top is set and bubbles appear on the surface.
  4. Flip & cook
    • Carefully flip the bread and cook another 3–5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Cool & serve
    • Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with butter, jam, or your favorite spread!

  • Add-ins: herbs, cheese, or garlic can make it savory.
  • Sweet version: fold in cinnamon, raisins, or chocolate chips.
  • Check doneness: insert a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean.
