2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade – see below)
-
1/2 cup water
-
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Wraps:
-
4–6 large flour tortillas (or whole wheat/tomato/spinach wraps)
-
1 cup shredded lettuce
-
1–2 tomatoes, diced
-
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend)
-
1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
-
1/2 cup salsa, guacamole, or hot sauce
-
Optional: jalapeños, black olives, corn, or avocado slices
🔥 Instructions:
1. Cook the beef:
-
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
-
Add ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until beef is browned and onion is soft (about 8–10 minutes). Drain excess fat.

-
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
2. Warm the tortillas:
-
Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 10–20 seconds on each side or wrap in foil and warm in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5–10 minutes.
3. Assemble the wraps:
-
Place a warm tortilla on a plate.
-
Spoon some of the beef mixture into the center.
-
Add lettuce, tomato, cheese, and your choice of toppings.
-
Drizzle with sour cream or salsa.
4. Wrap it up:
-
Fold in the sides, then roll up from the bottom tightly like a burrito or leave open like a taco-style wrap.
