Here’s a simple, fluffy, classic pancake recipe that’s easy to whip up and perfect for any morning:


🥞 Classic Fluffy Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour

  • 3 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 ¼ cups (300ml) milk

  • 1 large egg

  • 3 tbsp melted butter (plus extra for cooking)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  2. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat the egg and then whisk in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla.

  3. Combine: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined — lumps are okay! Don’t overmix.

  4. Cook: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour about ¼ cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook another 1-2 minutes until golden.

  5. Serve: Stack pancakes, drizzle with syrup, butter, fresh fruit, or your favorite toppings!
