Homemade Crunch Bars are super easy to make and taste just like the store-bought version—but better! They only need 2–3 ingredients and take just minutes to put together.


🍫 Easy Homemade Crunch Bars

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semisweet, milk, or dark – your choice)

  • 1 ½ cups crispy rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)

  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract or a pinch of salt


👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Melt the Chocolate

    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
      (Or use a double boiler on the stovetop.)

  2. Stir in Cereal

    • Gently fold in the crispy rice cereal until fully coated. Be careful not to crush them.

  3. Pour into Pan

    • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

    • Pour the mixture into the pan and spread evenly.

  4. Chill

    • Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until set.

  5. Cut & Serve

    • Lift out of the pan and cut into bars or squares.


🍬 Variations:

  • Add a swirl of peanut butter or Nutella for a twist.

  • Mix in mini marshmallows, chopped nuts, or crushed pretzels.

  • Use white chocolate, dark chocolate, or a combo for marbled bars.
