Here’s a classic and easy recipe to make Homemade Baileys Irish Cream — creamy, boozy, and perfect for sipping or mixing in coffee and desserts.


🍀 Homemade Baileys Irish Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream or whipping cream

  • 1 tsp instant coffee or espresso powder

  • ¾ cup (180 ml) Irish whiskey (like Jameson)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup or melted chocolate

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, adjust to taste)


Instructions

  1. Dissolve coffee
    In a small bowl, dissolve instant coffee powder in 2 tablespoons of hot water.

  2. Blend ingredients
    In a blender, combine the dissolved coffee, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, whiskey, vanilla extract, chocolate syrup, and brown sugar.

  3. Mix
    Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.

  4. Bottle & chill
    Pour the mixture into a clean glass bottle or jar with a tight lid. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let flavors meld.

  5. Serve
    Shake well before serving. Enjoy it on the rocks, mixed in coffee, or in cocktails.


Tips

  • Store in the fridge and consume within 2 weeks. Shake before each use, as ingredients may separate.

  • Adjust sweetness or whiskey amount to your taste.

  • Use good quality Irish whiskey for best flavor.

  • For a lighter version, swap some cream for milk, but it will be less rich.
