  • 12 oz twisted pasta (fusilli, rotini, or gemelli)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the twisted pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Prepare the steak bites:

    • Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Cajun seasoning.

    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter. Once melted and bubbling, add the steak bites in a single layer (do this in batches if needed to avoid crowding).

    • Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness). During the last minute, add minced garlic and spoon the garlic butter over the steak bites. Remove steak bites and keep warm.

  3. Make the spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onion until translucent (3-4 minutes).

    • Add minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

    • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Combine:

    • Toss the cooked pasta in the spicy Alfredo sauce until well coated.

    • Plate the pasta and top with garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with chopped parsley.
