π§ Ingredients:

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (like Pillsbury, 8-count)

Vegetable oil for frying (or use an air fryer)

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1β2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Optional Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1β2 tbsp milk

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Separate the dough:

Unroll crescent dough and press perforations together to make a single sheet.

Use a round biscuit cutter or glass to cut out donut shapes.

Use a smaller cutter or bottle cap to make the holes.

Heat the oil:

Fill a deep skillet or pot with about 1.5 inches of oil.

Heat to 350Β°F (175Β°C) β test with a thermometer or a small dough piece (should sizzle gently).

Fry the donuts:

Fry donuts 1β2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Fry donut holes for about 30β45 seconds per side.

Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
