Here’s a quick and versatile Chocolate Dessert that’s rich, elegant, and easy to make — No-Bake Chocolate Pots de Crème (think chocolate pudding for grown-ups!).


🍫 No-Bake Chocolate Pots de Crème

A creamy, silky chocolate dessert served in little cups or jars.

🕒 Ready in: 10 minutes (+ chill time)

🍽️ Serves: 4


🥄 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

  • 1 cup (170 g) semisweet or dark chocolate chips

  • 2 large egg yolks

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional, adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Heat the cream:
    In a small saucepan, heat cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling (just starting to steam).

  2. Blend chocolate & eggs:
    In a blender, add chocolate chips, egg yolks, sugar (if using), vanilla, and salt.
    Carefully pour in the hot cream.

  3. Blend until smooth:
    Blend for 1–2 minutes until chocolate is fully melted and mixture is smooth and thickened slightly.

  4. Pour & chill:
    Pour into small ramekins, cups, or jars.
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or until set).


🍒 Serving Ideas:

  • Top with whipped cream, berries, or shaved chocolate.

  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt or espresso powder for extra depth.

  • Serve in espresso cups for elegant mini portions.
