Chicken with Cream Cheese

🍗 Chicken with Cream Cheese (Creamy Skillet Recipe)

A rich, comforting dish that’s quick enough for weeknights and delicious enough for guests.

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Optional: spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Sear in a large skillet over medium heat with oil/butter (5–6 minutes per side) until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Add chicken broth and simmer 2–3 minutes.
  5. Lower heat and stir in cream cheese until smooth. Add Parmesan if using.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and simmer 5 minutes until coated in thick, creamy sauce.
  7. Add spinach or other extras if desired and cook until wilted.

🍽️ Serve With

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • Steamed broccoli or green beans
