Here’s a simple and delicious recipe to make Cheese Pizza on a Metal Tray — crispy crust, melty cheese, and baked perfectly at home!


Cheese Pizza (Baked on a Metal Tray)

🍕 Ingredients:

For the dough (or use store-bought):

  • 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • ¾ cup warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • Dried oregano or Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Olive oil, for brushing the crust


🔥 Instructions:

1. Make the Dough (Skip if using pre-made dough):

  • In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.

  • Cover and let rise for 45–60 minutes until doubled in size.

2. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place your metal baking tray in the oven to preheat as well — this helps crisp the bottom.

3. Shape the Pizza:

  • On a floured surface, roll or stretch the dough into a 10–12-inch circle or rectangle (depending on tray shape).

  • Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven, brush it lightly with oil, and transfer the dough onto it.

4. Add Sauce and Cheese:

  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a border for the crust.

  • Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan. Add oregano or seasoning if desired.

5. Bake:

  • Bake on the lower rack of the oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

6. Serve:

  • Let cool for a couple minutes, then slice and enjoy!
