Here’s a classic and foolproof Baked Potato Recipe — fluffy on the inside with a crisp, salty skin. It’s simple, satisfying, and the perfect base for all your favorite toppings!


🥔 Perfect Baked Potato

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes

  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

  • Kosher salt (or sea salt), to taste

  • Optional: black pepper, garlic powder for extra flavor


🔥 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Prep the Potatoes:

  • Scrub potatoes clean and dry thoroughly with a towel.

  • Prick each potato all over with a fork (about 6–8 times) to let steam escape.

  • Rub each potato with olive oil or butter, then sprinkle generously with salt.

3. Bake:
