🍗 Baked Crack Chicken

Baked Crack Chicken is a creamy, cheesy, and flavorful chicken dish often cooked with cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and bacon. It’s called “crack chicken” because it’s so addictive! Perfect for dinner or as a filling for sandwiches.

🥘 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6–8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2–3 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    • Set to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare chicken:
    • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
    • Place in a baking dish.
  3. Make the creamy topping:
    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch dressing, half the cheddar cheese, and half the bacon.
  4. Bake:
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chicken breasts.
    • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Add toppings:
    • Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese and bacon on top.
    • Bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish & serve:
    • Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
    • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or in sandwich rolls.

💡 Tips

  • Make it a casserole: Dice the chicken and mix everything together in a baking dish for an easy one-pan meal.
  • Spice it up: Add a pinch of cayenne or hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture for a kick.
  • Meal prep: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

If you want, I can give a slow-cooker version of crack chicken that’s extra tender and perfect for shredding.
