Here’s a simple recipe for crispy fried chicken cutlets 🍗✨

🍗 Fried Chicken Cutlets

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Slice and flatten the chicken
    • Cut each chicken breast in half horizontally.
    • Lightly pound with a rolling pin or meat mallet until thin.
  2. Prepare coating stations
    • Bowl 1: flour
    • Bowl 2: beaten egg
    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Coat the chicken
    • Dip chicken in flour.
    • Then dip in egg.
    • Finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil
    • Heat about ½ cm oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry
    • Fry the cutlets 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain
    • Place on paper towels to remove excess oil.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

Serve with:

  • Fresh salad
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Fries
  • A squeeze of lemon juice

  • Use panko breadcrumbs if available.
