Roasted potatoes

🥔 Roasted Potatoes

Roasted potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft inside, made by baking potatoes with oil and seasonings.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or any cooking oil)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs like oregano or rosemary (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

2️⃣ Prepare potatoes

  • Wash and peel (optional).
  • Cut into cubes or wedges.

3️⃣ Season

  • Place potatoes in a bowl.
  • Add oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and herbs.
  • Mix well so the potatoes are coated.

4️⃣ Arrange on tray

  • Spread potatoes in a single layer on a baking tray.

5️⃣ Roast

  • Bake for 30–40 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Serve with ketchup or garlic sauce
  • Add to breakfast, grilled chicken, or salads

💡 Tips for Extra Crispiness

  • Use starchy potatoes (like russet).
  • Don’t overcrowd the tray.
