🍫 Chocolate-Covered Brownie Bars

These are rich fudgy brownie bars coated with a smooth chocolate layer—perfect for dessert, parties, or a sweet snack.

🧾 Ingredients

For the Brownie Base

  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (50 g) cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • ½ cup (115 g) melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 200 g dark or milk chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil (for shine)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Line a small baking pan (8×8 inch) with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk well.
  5. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.

2️⃣ Bake

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until the center is set but still slightly soft.
  • Let the brownies cool completely.

3️⃣ Cut Into Bars

  • Remove from the pan and cut into rectangular bars.

4️⃣ Chocolate Coating

  1. Melt chocolate with butter using a double boiler or microwave (20-second intervals).
  2. Dip each brownie bar into the melted chocolate or pour chocolate over them.

5️⃣ Set

  • Place bars on parchment paper and refrigerate 20–30 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

Add before the chocolate sets:

  • Chopped nuts 🌰
  • Sprinkles ✨
  • Sea salt flakes 🧂
  • Crushed biscuits 🍪
