Chicken fritters

Chicken Fritters are crispy, savory patties made with chopped or shredded chicken, mixed with simple ingredients, then pan-fried until golden. They’re great as a snack, appetizer, or quick meal. 🍗🥘


Ingredients (Makes about 8–10 fritters)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour (or breadcrumbs)
  • ¼ cup grated cheese (optional but tasty)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients
    In a bowl combine chicken, egg, flour, cheese, herbs, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
  2. Form the Fritters
    Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture and shape into small patties.
  3. Heat the Oil
    Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook
    Fry fritters 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain & Serve
    Place on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve warm.

Serving Ideas

  • With garlic yogurt sauce
  • With honey mustard or ranch
  • In a wrap or sandwich
  • With a fresh salad

Tips

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • Add corn or grated zucchini for extra texture.
  • For a healthier version, bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway.
