Slow Cooker Cabbage and Sausage

Slow Cooker Cabbage and Sausage is a hearty, comforting dish that cooks slowly so the flavors blend beautifully. It’s simple, filling, and great for busy days. πŸ₯¬πŸŒ­

Ingredients

  • 1 medium Cabbage, chopped
  • 400–500 g Sausage (smoked sausage or kielbasa), sliced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 medium Potato (optional), diced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Β½ tsp Black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients
    Chop the cabbage, onion, and potatoes. Slice the sausage.
  2. Layer in the slow cooker
    Add cabbage, sausage, onion, garlic, and potatoes into the slow cooker.
  3. Season
    Pour in chicken broth and olive oil. Add paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
  5. Stir and serve
    Stir gently before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning.
