Tortilla Wraps with Ground Beef

Tortilla Wraps with ground beef are a quick, versatile meal where seasoned beef and optional toppings are wrapped in soft tortillas. They’re popular for lunches, dinners, or casual gatherings.


Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4–6 Tortilla wraps (flour or whole wheat)
  • 1 lb (450 g) Ground Beef
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 1–2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded Cheese, lettuce, Tomato, sour cream, salsa, or avocado

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef
    • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
    • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
    • Drain excess fat.
  2. Season the beef
    • Stir in chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Cook 2–3 more minutes until fragrant.
  3. Warm tortillas
    • Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until pliable.
  4. Assemble wraps
    • Place a portion of beef on each tortilla.
    • Add desired toppings.
    • Fold or roll tortillas to enclose the filling.
  5. Serve immediately with salsa, guacamole, or a side salad.

Tips & Variations

  • Spicy version: Add jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef.
  • Vegetable boost: Include peppers, corn, or black beans in the filling.
  • Cheese melt: Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of hot beef before wrapping.
  • Meal prep: Assemble wraps without toppings, wrap in foil, and refrigerate for up to 2 days.

💡 Tip: For a healthier option, use lean ground beef or ground turkey and whole wheat tortillas.
