Cinnamon roll

Cinnamon Roll is a soft, sweet pastry made from rolled dough filled with butter, sugar, and cinnamon, then baked and usually topped with icing. It’s fluffy, sweet, and perfect for breakfast or dessert. 🍞🍥✨


Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

1. Make the Dough

  1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt.
  3. Gradually mix in flour and knead until soft dough forms.
  4. Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.

2. Prepare the Rolls

  1. Roll dough into a rectangle.
  2. Spread softened butter over it.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
  4. Roll tightly into a log.

3. Cut and Rise

  • Cut into 10–12 slices.
  • Place in a greased baking dish.
  • Let rise 30 minutes.

4. Bake

  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.

5. Add Icing

  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  • Drizzle over warm rolls.
