Cod in air fryer

Here’s a quick, healthy way to make Cod in an Air Fryer — crispy outside, tender inside 🐟✨


🐟 Air Fryer Cod Recipe

(Serves 2–3)

Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)
  • 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving
  • Optional: fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer
  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  1. Prepare Cod
  • Pat fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Brush with olive oil or butter.
  • Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  1. Cook
  • Place fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if applicable.
  • Air fry 8–12 minutes, depending on thickness:
    • Thinner fillets: ~8 minutes
    • Thicker fillets: up to 12 minutes
  • Check for doneness: fish should flake easily with a fork.
  1. Serve
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  • Garnish with herbs if desired.

🔥 Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • For extra crunch, lightly coat fillets with breadcrumbs or panko before air frying.
  • Serve with air-fried vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
