🧾 Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini work great)
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Β½ cup grated Parmesan
  • Β½ cup sliced pepperoni
  • Optional toppings: bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, cooked bacon

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook meat
    In a skillet, cook ground beef or sausage with onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
  4. Add sauce
    Stir in pizza sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer 3–5 minutes.
  5. Assemble
    In a large bowl, combine pasta with meat sauce.
    Spread half into baking dish.
    Add half the mozzarella.
    Layer remaining pasta mixture on top.
    Finish with remaining mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni.
  6. Bake
    Bake 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Rest & serve
    Let sit 5–10 minutes before serving.
