Grilled Chicken Tenders Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken tenders
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne for heat, fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken:
    • In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Toss the chicken tenders in the mixture until well coated.
    • Let marinate for 15–30 minutes (longer for deeper flavor, up to 2 hours in the fridge).
  2. Preheat the grill:
    • Medium-high heat is ideal (about 400°F / 200°C).
    • Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  3. Grill the tenders:
    • Place chicken tenders on the grill.
    • Grill 3–4 minutes per side, until nicely charred and internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C.
  4. Rest and serve:
    • Let the chicken rest for 2–3 minutes before serving to lock in juices.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley, lemon wedges, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips for Extra Flavor:

  • Brush with BBQ sauce or teriyaki glaze during the last minute of grilling.
  • Sprinkle with a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
  • Serve with grilled veggies, salad, or rice for a complete meal.
