Posted on April 26, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple way to turn ripe bananas into natural banana candies—no artificial ingredients, just real fruit and a bit of patience.

🍌 Homemade Natural Banana Candies

🧾 Ingredients

  • 3–4 very ripe bananas
  • Optional:
    • Honey (for extra sweetness)
    • A pinch of cinnamon or cardamom

🍳 Method 1: Oven / Dehydrated Banana Candies

1. Prepare

  • Peel bananas
  • Slice into thin rounds or strips

2. Optional coating

  • Lightly brush with honey or sprinkle spice

3. Dry

  • Place on baking tray with parchment paper
  • Bake at 100–120°C (low heat) for 2–3 hours
  • Flip halfway through

4. Cool

  • Let them cool completely
  • They will become chewy or slightly crisp

☀️ Method 2: Sun-dried (traditional way)

1. Slice bananas thinly

2. Place on a clean tray

3. Cover with a thin cloth (to keep dust away)

4. Dry in sunlight for 2–3 days

✔ Natural and preservative-free

🍬 Method 3: Soft banana fudge-style candy

1. Mash ripe bananas

2. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously

3. Add a little honey if desired

4. Cook until thick and sticky

5. Spread on a tray and cut into pieces

💡 Tips

  • Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness
  • Store in airtight container
  • Refrigerate for longer shelf life

🟢 Bottom line

These banana candies are a healthy alternative to processed sweets—naturally sweet, simple, and great for snacks.
