Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Here’s a classic Chicken Alfredo Pasta recipe that’s creamy, comforting, and easy to make at home:


🍝 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Optional: parsley for garnish

🥄 Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

2. Cook the Chicken

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
  • Remove from pan and slice into strips.

3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter.
  • Sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth.
  • Add a little pasta water if sauce is too thick.

4. Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Toss cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce.
  • Add sliced chicken on top and mix gently.

5. Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.
  • Serve immediately while creamy and warm.

💡 Tips

  • For extra flavor, add mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan—pre-grated can be less creamy.
  • Don’t overcook the sauce; keep it smooth and silky.
